ProMan Oy has been a member of the global IMAP, The International Network of Mergers & Acquisition Partners, network since 2002. IMAP is an international network of leading, countrywise M&A advisors, with close cooperation between the partners. IMAP is founded in 1973.
IMAP advisors are specialised in serving mid market companies, turnover between 5 - 100 M€, with advisory and implementation services in strategic buy, sell and other corporate finance issues. All IMAP members share the same values and members are committed to a common ethical code of conduct in order to guarantee the same quality and efficiency, independent of the country in question.
IMAP has 45 members in over 30 countries with offices in the US, Europe, the Nordic countries, South America and Asia. These member companies employ more than 500 M&A specialists. Typical IMAP customers are owners and the managment of family owned companies, the management of national and international groups when selling group companies, private equity groups and big multinational groups acquiring mid market companies in different countries.
Being a partner in IMAP enables ProMan to find also foreign buyers for Finnish companies. Additionally, we can offer foreign companies for sale by our IMAP partners for Finnish companies. ProMan knows and works very closely with especially the IMAP partners in the Nordic countries and in Europe. In this geographical area we have been able to efficiently and fast expedite both sell and buy mandates. In the Nordic countries IMAP Nordic partners have as IMAP Nordic closed most transactions of all M&A advisors 3 years in a row; in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
