IMAP transaction: Huhtamäki Oyj acquired a Brazilian films manufacturer
Huhtamaki has completed the acquisition of the Brazilian hygienic films manufacturer Prisma Pack Indústria de Filmes Técnicos e Embalagens Ltda. With the acquisition Huhtamaki gains a strong position in hygienic films in the fast growing Brazilian market and improves its ability to serve its global Films customers in South America. Prisma Pack is located in the Bahia region in Northeastern Brazil and employs approximately 200 people. The company's 2010 net sales were approximately EUR 40 million.
