Maalaistuote Vataja Oy, a family business specialized in meat processing, has been sold to Global NG Oy. Vataja has introduced nitrite and food additive free products among other things. The Kankaanpää based Company’s turnover is about 9 M€ with an excellent profitability. The buyer, Global NG, which biggest owner is GSS-Export, has many years’ experience of exporting Finnish meat products, especially to Russia. The buyer sees significant export potential in Vataja’s advanced products both to east and west.
