The Vahanen Group of companies, which is one of the leading engineering companies in the construction industry in Finland, has strengthen its position in Central Finland by acquiring 80 % of the shares of Insinööritoimisto Mittatyö Suomi Oy. Insinööritoimisto Mittatyö Suomi, which is located in Jyväskylä, offers building engineering, building condition survey and repair engineering as well as geodetic engineering. The company has a strong position in Central Finland. The number of personnel is 16 but in the deal is also included the Estonian company Mittatyö Eesti OU, which employs 4 people. The Vahanen Group has not earlier had operations in Central Finland. Confector Oy was the seller (earlier Insinööritoimisto Mittatyö Jukka Holopainen Oy) and Jukka and Leila Holopainen are the main owners of Confector. Jukka Holopainen will remain as the managing director in the sold company after the deal.
