ProMan Oy closed the most M&A deals in Finland in 2012

ProMan Oy closed the most M&A deals in Finland among Finnish M&A and corporate finance advisories in 2012, in deals valued under $200M. This is shown in the recently published and internationally recognized Thomson Reuters League Tables statistic. ProMan performed well also with its IMAP colleagues being ranked the second in the Nordic and the third in the Europe. This was the sixth consecutive year in which IMAP has been ranked among the top two advisories in the Nordic countries in terms of the number of transactions. “In mergers and acquisitions the year 2012 was in general more challenging than the year 2011. Uncertainty in the global macroeconomics slowed processes and made financing scarcely available, which complicated deal closings. The sluggish first half in the markets and the subsequent slow organic growth forced companies to more actively pursue growth from mergers and acquisitions towards the autumn. ProMan succeeded to close more deals especially during this favorable period than its rivals and that success is now awarded with the highest rank in League Tables”, Mikko Sistonen, ProMan’s partner, comments.
