Tieturi is the largest Nordic information and communications technology training company and was previously owned by funds managed by CapMan and other minority owners, until the online media group Soprano acquired 100% of the company shares. Through the acquisition, Soprano becomes the leading information and communication technology company in the Nordics.
Tieturi concern was founded in 1983 and has operations in Finland, Sweden and Estonia. Tieturi provide services to over half of the 100 largest companies in Finland and Sweden, some of Tieturi's clients are Microsoft, Adobe, Red Hat and Scrum Alliance. The turnover for financial year ending in June 2013 was 16,9 MEUR.
Soprano is one of the leading online media companies in Finland. The acquisition of Tieturi was part of a growth strategy developed by the Borad of Directors, which aim to gain a competitive advantage by combining experts in communication and technology. Soprano had a turnover of 3,9 MEUR per September 2012.
