Otavamedia has acquired a majority stake in MCI Press Oy constructing one of Finland’s leading multichannel content marketing companies. In connection with the transaction, content marketing company MCI Press Oy, video content company DeCo Media Oy and corporate journalism company Otavamedia Asiakasviestintä merged into a single entity.
The merger of MCI Press Oy, Otavamedia Asiakasviestintä and DeCo Media Oy forms a company that is larger than the sum of its parts, as from now on, a single liason can provide the companies’ customers various content marketing experts’ services in the communication channels preferred by the customers.
The new MCI Press Oy’s offering consists of versatile multichannel content marketing services such as print, newsletter, video, webcast and social media services. The company is owned by Otavamedia (70 %) and MCI Press Oy’s former majority owner Jyrki Lehto (30 %).

The company has offices in Helsinki and Turku and it employs about 60 content marketing experts. New MCI Press Oy’s budgeted turnover for 2015 is over eight million euro.
